REBOL Programming language was developed in the 1970’s by Richard Saul Wurman. The purpose of the software was to provide a framework to simplify complex programs by providing them with a more concise syntax and structure, and an easy-to-read and understand syntax for beginners to use. REBOL is a multi-paradigmatic programming language and cross-platform distributed information exchange language developed by Carl Sussman for distributed and network-communication purposes.

There are plugins that enable you to do the same thing as a regular expression while creating arrays as well as to create functions to handle more advanced tasks. Another popular plugin called the “Expression” lets you write code directly in the browser automatically compiles your code as an application.

Some of the commonly used extensions in the REBOL Programming Language include “A special type of LISP called REBOL LISP has been developed for REBOL Programming Language. It supports the concept of “lets” which basically are used to make the programming language much more convenient. However, there are many problems with this particular language that makes it a little difficult to use.

In fact, the “LISP” programming language that is used in REBOL programming Language comes in two versions namely, the “REBOL LISP 1.1″REBOL LISP 2. In addition, there are also a number of other extensions that enable you to make the language more user-friendly and to make it compatible with the other programming languages that are available today.
